What is Hoof Grip?

Hoof Grip comes from recycled tires and we use a proprietary blend to color our rubber. Once the rubber is colored we mix it with a glue and then it is poured in place into your desired area.

What can Hoof Grip be put on top of?

In livestock applications we at Hoof Grip recommend to have a sub-straight to adhere your Hoof Grip flooring to.

Types of floors that Hoof Grip can be put over; cement, wood, aluminum, steel

Will it wreck my trailer floor?

Hoof Grip will not destroy your trailer floor, it will increase your floors dexterity and elongate its life span.

Before installing the Hoof Grip floor, small 5/16" holes are drilled every 16" inches to allow for water/urine to drain. If you have wood as floor boards, no drilling is required.

After the holes are drilled, we add a primer that acts like a membrane to protect your floor boards from the corrosion of urine.

How long does it take to install?

In most cases, you will be able to use your Hoof Grip floor within 36 hours of having it installed. Your Hoof Grip installer will be able to give you an exact timeline for when you can use your Hoof Grip floor

Are repairs easy?

If you have a repair, your nearest Hoof Grip installer will be able to fix the area. Depending on the size of the repair, it usually take as little as one hour to do.

What is the maintenance?

Maintenance of a Hoof Grip floor is simple! You can take a garden hose to wash out your trailer floor and keep it looking like new!
